# Mobile app

> Understand how the Sanilog mobile app keeps active field work available and synchronized on the road.

The Sanilog mobile app supports field work on the road. Normal browsing uses an internet connection, while an active work session is offline-first so temporary loss of coverage does not erase the selected truck, active route, or recorded work.

## Before leaving coverage

Start the assigned work session while the device is online. Sanilog saves the complete active route package on the device before field execution depends on it.

If the expected truck or route is unavailable, ask the person responsible for Dispatch to review the assignment before leaving coverage.

## During active work

The mobile app keeps field actions durable until they synchronize. Depending on the assigned work, these actions can include:

* Completing tasks.
* Recording GPS positions.
* Adding photos and notes.
* Capturing signatures.

When the device is offline, actions remain queued on the device. Sanilog replays them in order and retries failed synchronization. Unresolved actions remain visible instead of disappearing.

## Finish the route

Required field actions must synchronize before the route can end. If synchronization is still pending, reconnect the device and allow the queue to finish before ending the route.

## Ghost mode

Ghost mode is online and read-only. Use it to inspect field information without starting or changing an active work session.
