# Getting started

> Prepare a Sanilog workspace in the recommended sequence and get the first day ready for dispatch.

Use the setup checklist on the Dashboard to prepare a workspace for its first dispatch.

Sign in at [app.sanilog.io](https://app.sanilog.io). Your Dashboard shows a setup checklist and recommends the next available step.

  Only an Owner or Manager can finish workspace setup. If you cannot open or complete a required step, ask an Owner or Manager to complete it or review your access.

## Prepare the workspace

Complete the checklist in this order:

1. Build the catalog.
2. Add the first yard.
3. Set up the fleet and inventory.
4. Add a client and service site.
5. Create an agreement.
6. Confirm the first jobs.
7. Plan the first dispatch.

When every required step is ready, return to the Dashboard, review the checklist, and select **Finish setup**. Finishing setup removes the checklist; it does not remove or rewrite the records you created.

Sanilog keeps later steps unavailable until the records they depend on are ready.
